L’absence et la présence sont sous-entendues grâce à ces représentations de corps recouverts pudiquement de draps blancs. Objets perdus ou retrouvés, on ne sait, dans ce lieu de l’intimité qu’est justement la chambre, espace du retour, espace des affects et de la délicatesse.
Le désir vacille ici entre le jeu et le trouble. Là commence aussi le roman de la perte et de la quête que la photographie évoque. Car la photographie entretient avec le temps un rapport ambigu. Soustrayant le sujet au néant elle prend en compte la dimension de l’amour. Interpellant ce qu’il y a d’essentiel dans l’instant, elle nous montre ce qui unit l’infini au fini,le désir et la personne photographiée.
Savoir ce que la photographie est en soi : recherche du temps perdu, vue directe, attribution d’une autre vie, hors-champ d’un spectacle auquel le spectateur n’aura jamais accès …est difficile. Il reste la vue du modèle et la question véritable : " Comment reproduire ce qui ne se répètera jamais ?". Problème auquel se soumet l’artiste avec force.

Wanda Skonieczny was born in Aix-en-Provence in 1973. In 1997 she graduated with Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Strasbourg. She has lived and worked in Marseille and set up his new workshop in Brittany. With the coming of these studies, she decided to pursue his research on the photographic material.
