Miriam and Olivia met in 1999 at the School of Photography in Vevey, Switzerland.
It is this friendship that is born this book.
In 2010 they made this project travel: crossing the United States from Chicago to San Francisco to stress that Myriam take a photograph of Olivia daily.
7201 km, 120 hours of car later, after crossing Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Colorado City (Texas), Albuquerque, Santa Fe, etc.. They had made ​​more than 700 photographs.
This book is about the freedom that travel, this bond between two people who throw themselves into the adventure and the landscape.
Time for a picture, the figure of Olivia as a fictional character, is part of the American mythology.

Myriam Tirler

Photographe

Myriam Tirler German nationality, born in Geneva in 1977, Myriam Tirler graduated from the School of Photography in Vevey. Since completing his studies in 2002, she worked as a freelance for various magazines and covers shows, theaters, concerts, performances. It also carries portraits of actors, artists and musicians while continuing work of visual order in Paris, where she resides.

Olivia Creed

Photographe

Olivia Creed happens to be the character, the central model of most of the photographs.
Jean-Yves Jouannais was born in 1964. He was editor of Art Press for 9 years. Art critic and curator of exhibitions: Venice Biennale, 1995; “The Fool split. Idiocy in the art of the twentieth century”, Moscow, 2000; “La Force de l’Art 02”, 2009). He began a lecture series entitled “The Encyclopedia of wars” at the Pompidou Center, scheduled for four years.
