The title refers to the name given to the wind in a region of northern Catalonia, Emporda. Its name means “beyond the mountains.” It alludes to the wind not only as identification element, but also as an agent of change and erosion. Transmontanus is a diary on a reunion with familiar territory during childhood. The series tells the recognition and the rediscovery of the same territory but with different eyes. She questions the fact of its design life, with the certainty that we and where we are, never remain the same.
