A life of chicken offers a series of diptychs composed of two stories: one focuses on color in the chicken industry, the second in black and white based on military service. In comparing these two sets Culmann Olivier realized he had actually photographed one and the same story: that of alienation and its consequences (the war, slaughter …) . But far from any pathos, he has drawn humorous photograph a small pamphlet that looks é both ironic and tender those e which is imposed not follow a single channel.
