This book is not meant a succession of texts but a truly cross theoretical and precipitated from the thinking of artists and invited the young researchers developing a new theoretical thinking. Research and risk-taking, research and development of a new theoretical thought grid from photography and theoretical notion of act is declining from certain infinitives in their chosen act relevance of participating in the creation.
For these theoretical reasons, specifically, the work will be articulated along six chapters appointed by substantial inputs to verbs: to repeat, reproduce, transcribe, translate, transmit.
This is part of an inter-university seminar 8 Paris / Paris 1 since 2010, and in connection with the merger of the university with schools of Fine Arts, the seminar crossed the floor 14 * invited as artists and teachers in schools of art than art critics or faculty from other universities with doctoral students reflective thinking (visual arts photography specialty), master students in photography and contemporary art .
Based on a corpus of about artists and theoretical Master and PhD student reflections, it offers itself as a new form of photographic thinking today.
